Half Zip Zine
In this self-published, biannual, limited run zine a mix of collage and written pieces allowing for a loose representation of the fluidity of experience within architecture, ridding itself of its structural form.

Issue 01 focusses on the area of Jesmond, a suburb in Newcastle upon Tyne, whilst exploring how the past identities of a place leaves shadows of itself in the present day.
With reference to sense of place; home; materiality; industry and leisure, Half Zip Zine follows an imagined but walkable route (below) from the West edge of Jesmond through Exhibition Park to the Old Jesmond Station now a pub known as The Carriage; along to the Blue Bell and from there tracing along the Ouseburn to Jesmond Dene House before heading South along Osborne Road and along Acorn Road before returning to the starting point.
