Following on from research into tactics for diagramming, I began to use some online software (Creately) to begin mapping my diagram which I was hoping would include links to analogue technology, invented instruments, found sound/sound artists etc. This allowed me to quickly develop a template to order different streams of thought into organised sections of the diagram and to drag and drop areas of the diagram around to allow for it to be its most legible.
Having set up a template for explaining the multiple strands of research into one concise diagram to allow for links and conclusions to be drawn, I then began to fill in the various 'gaps' in the diagram which allowed for links to be established between the few. This allowed me to understand the areas of my research which are not necessarily as advanced as others and encouraged me to open up lines of enquiry in those areas.
