Feedback:
Following on from the feedback, I think it’s important to address the application and synthesis of the research to progress the scheme further. To do this, I will dedicate the next couple of days to integrating the enceintes and labyrinthine techniques into the existing floor plans to extend thresholds as well as concealing and revealing views from and to certain areas. I will also have a look into the walled garden research and the conditions which the types of plants I have selected need to try to put together a sketch landscaping plan.
It may also be useful to try to find a precedent study which is more alike to the pompeii bathhouses which are examples of infill architecture to understand the connections between buildings. These may or may not necessarily be typological precedent studies, but will allow the building to fill its site and the relationships between it and surrounding buildings.
