To identify potential sites in the Coatsworth Road area, I created an exploded axonometric of the site to allow myself to better understand the relationships between the urban grain of the site, the locations of religious and civic buildings, key routes across the site and green spaces. This allowed me to identify areas of negative space on site which can be approached in a collage style to create infill architecture such as the infill architecture of the bathhouses of Roman times.
From this it was clear to see where a site which could house infill architecture was located directly behind Coatsworth Road.
