Following on from Tuesday's tutorial, I tried to summarise several different threads of enquiry into my sketchbook pages to allow for myself to synthesise this at a later date into one diagram as suggested by Sebastian.
This meant summarising research into Compact Cassette Tapes, the Coomber 393 and Jean-Michel Basquiat's band Gray as well as the similarities of producing music found between Gray and Bon Iver's 2016 album 22, A Million. Whilst summarising these themes, I was also opening up enquiries into Found Sound/Sound Artists, Musique Concrete, Modified Toy Orchestra among other things which I wished to synthesise into one large scale diagram by the end of the week as a reference point for the rest of the semester which could be added to throughout the year.
Below are initial slightly erratic note taking of themes from the week prior before:
I then took a bit of time researching diagrams which express various links between musicians etc from examples (http://discograph.mbrsi.org/).
Tomorrow I'll attempt to create a diagram which covers these topics in a similar way. :)
