Ahead of next weeks review, I was wanting to prepare a site model to overdraw diagrams, forms and notes to explore ideas for my selected site and for the scheme. Below is the 1-200 (at A2) map that I will be referencing to create the map. I am hoping to incorporate some handmade, recycled paper to the topography of the site as well as allowing the sloped section of the site to be removable to allow for models of the schemes form to be inserted but this may be ahead of what I will be able to achieve in the next week and may be a job for the days after the review before the assessment hand in date.
The site is varying in height (10m difference from top to bottom) meaning the exterior to the site is in need of being built at two different heights, with the river 5m below the lower ground level. Measurements vertically have been taken from the 3D city model provided by Northumbria University (screenshots below).
