Having selected a site at the end of last week and drawn up a couple of diagrams to understand the relationships between the site, buildings near to the site and the topography, the visit to the site today allowed me to understand these ideas in context.
The site itself, a steep hill with over 10m distance from the top to bottom, is fenced off but allows views into the site. This allowed me to have a look at the embankment as well as links to the edges and nodes surrounding the site.
