To follow on from the conversation with Chris on Tuesday, I began to 'value' the buildings in the Ouseburn - mostly those visible from section. The following images are in a 'soviet propaganda' drawing style which includes the formatting similar to top trumps cards. This allows for the buildings to be valued on various factors including Industrial Heritage, Material Palette, Traditional Roof Form, Cultural Use and Community Inclusion.
This allowed me to understand what the key typologies, materials and forms of buildings within the Ouseburn are of higher value architecturally, historically and contextually. This will hopefully in turn allow my own projects material palette and form and
